With just two Wave events (Pozo, Sylt) this season and the huge dissapointment of having just a single Freestyle event (Lanzarote) this year, the Slalom Tour became the real ray of hope for professional womens windsurfing in 2010.

At the last tour stop in Alcati, Turkey, we saw a huge fleet of 21 females saw the battle between Karin Jaggi and Valerie Arrighetti (Ghibodo), with the latter taking the honors.

Hey Andy, thanks so much! It's really frustrating, esp. now with the season starting and all the windsurf tourists arriving here in Cape Town... But I've been on the water a few times now, and even though it's not the same and I have to be really careful, it's still the best :-) Take care, Maria

Hi Andy, thank for you comment.
It is not easy with a baby because you have less time but if you want you can windsurf also abroad. Travelling for a baby is not a problem and I think it is important to continue doing what you love! I hope in future my baby will love sea and windsurf!
Next summer we will go to Lanzarote.
May be we will meet somewhere around the world.
Hang loose.
Silvia
